Green everywhere :)

Life is so fun during the summer! I love how sunny it is and I just want to be outside all the time. It makes me sooo happy :) The trees are getting so green. I even have a perfect view of the mountains from my apt and they look so beautiful. Sometimes I take for granted how much beauty there is in this world. Danny has taught me to appreciate nature. He grew up in Seattle where everything is always green. He can see so much beauty in a simple flower and he loves staring at big green trees. I am starting to look at nature in a different way. It just reminds me of the love that Heavenly Father has for us. He sent us to this BEAUTIFUL world. Every plant is His own creation.

A couple of weeks ago, I told Danny that I wanted to go out and take pictures of something pretty. He thought about it for a minute and he told me he had the perfect place for me. He took me this trail called Lovers' Lane Trail. When we got there everything was just full of plants. He was so excited so see so much green there was around us. I wasn't  sure what to take pictures of because everything was seriously just green. At first I thought it was a little boring but as we went on I could see so many little things that were so beautiful. There were different kinds of leaves and little flowers. I was so excited just enjoy the moment. I'm so grateful for nature and the little things that my wonderful husband teaches me.

  1. As far as my understanding of the Plan of Salvation goes, there's no reason we need a beautiful world.

There are many wonderful purposes why we are here on earth, but none of those seem to me to require any special vegetation or geography. We could have the boring-est, plain-est world and still have a complete, happy, fulfilling life.

And nature is insanely complex. It's obviously thoroughly-designed. Ask me about that sometime, and I can show you mathematical evidences of God as a Designer. It would have been a lot easier to just leave that part out.

But God *DID* make it beautiful. Something He didn't have to do. Something extra. And that makes it even more special for me.
