Finally done!

So this semester has been insane!!!! seriously! My classes were okay. I only took 2 art classes. One was a painting class (Studio) which it wasn't my favorite. I wasn't a big fan of my professor for the longest time... but after spending 4 long months with him I kind of like him a bit more. I didn't enjoy many of the assignments though. The other art class that I took was photography. It was way fun. I really enjoyed learning! I bought a nice camera and I finally know how to use it...well...for the most part. There are still a lot I need to learn. I'm really glad I took this class. I didn't want to buy an expensive camera to only use it for a class. But I love taking pictures! so I'll probably use it more. Today and tomorrow I'm taking Christine's family pictures and tomorrow I'm taking Scott's (my brother-in-law) graduation photos. I'm so excited!

This semester is over. I did pretty well on my first 4 finals. but the last 2 were not as great. The last test I took was family finance. I went to the JSB around 6:30pm. The lines were huge!!!! I waited for about 1.5 hrs to actually take my test. By the time I got my test I was already physically tired. I was doing pretty good for the first hour. But then I started feeling so sick. It was so weird. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to throw up. I had to stop during my test. I think I took like a 30 minute break... I was just sitting there trying to feel better. It was getting late but I couldn't think. It was so dumb because I was trying to solve the problems and my brain wasn't thinking. I knew how to solve them but I just couldn't weird huh?! well... yeah...thats pretty much what happened for the last half of my test. I was done by 11pm. I didn't do very well :( it was sad. At least  it's over.

Now it's time to move! We are moving our stuff to the other apartment today. We finally got our truck back!!! (I was driving about 3 weeks ago and a car hit me. It wasn't too bad but we haven't had a car since then. Now it's finally fixed). Now that we have a car it will be a lot easier to do stuff. We also need to get some furniture soon. Mainly dressers and a desk. Danny's parents are staying with us for a couple of days. They are helping us move a little.

 After we are done moving we are going to have so much fun!!!!! I'll finally be able to hang out with people :) We've been trying to hang out with Danny's friends (Josh, BriElle, Sterling, Amber) but we just haven't had time. And I've been meaning to hang out with my old roommate Haylee for the past month and a few other friends. I can be social again! yay!!! :)

Good news! Danny got a really good scholarship for next year! I don't really understand much about it but it's something like a Biomedical Engineering mentorship. He will get full tuition next year and they will be paying for his research job..that means there is a possibility that he will get paid more. Danny says that it also looks good in his resume. We are way excited! Heavenly Father just keeps blessing us sooooo much. We are very grateful for that. He's also having an interview for an internship this summer. I really hope something works out.

Other good news: Danny and I got called to be Primary Teachers! We'll be teaching the 5 year old kids in our ward! So exciting!!!!! We love kids and we are very happy for this opportunity. I've been telling Danny for the past 4 months that I would love to work in the Primary with him... and now we are finally doing it!

Yesterday I took my art history final. I'm amazed at how many people are almost done taking their finals... and I just finished my first one. Mine are all scheduled so I can't do much about it. I also spent several hours working on my photography final. I finally finished!!!! But when I went to the photography printing lab it was already closed :( and they don't open till Monday at 8am. My final is at 7am on Monday. Lame huh?! hmm.. I'm not exactly sure what to do. Now I need to work on all my paintings. My final for my painting class is also on Monday right after my photography one.

Last night Danny and I came home from the library at midnight. We had a lot of desserts left from my assignment. We invited my brother over to come eat some of them and watch a movie with us. We were supposed to do that at 10pm after I was done with my test but I needed to edit all the photos first. It was fun though. I really needed to do something fun on a Saturday night...even if it was a movie at midnight. Danny was really nice to let me do this. He was very tired and just wanted to sleep. But he stayed up with Ron and I. We watched Wreck-it Ralph. It was fun :)

Other exciting news: My friend Christine is graduating next week and she invited me to go to her graduation!!! I'm way excited for her. Her family is coming here for a couple of days. They are very nice people. And I'm going to be taking Christine's graduation day photos for her and her family! I'm so happy that I will be able to capture that special moment.

Miracles happen!

We are so blessed! this past couple of days we have received lots and lots of blessings. Yesterday Danny found out he got a grant for this past school year and it made us very happy. We are now waiting to hear about next year for both of us.

Today we finally SOLD OUR CONTRACT!!!!!!!!!! wooohhooooo!!!!!! It's so nice to be done. They are a very nice couple. Danny actually knows the guy. He was a priest in his mission. We are moving to a place very close to our apt. That means that we are not changing wards. 

So finals week... I have so much to do. I'm excited about my photography final. I'm taking 6 photos of desserts. I bought a lot of things today... it was a bit too expensive but everything looks delicious! I'll be taking the pictures tomorrow morning, and then we can eat all the yummy desserts :) I might post some of the pictures here... it depends on how they turn out lol. Tomorrow night I'll be taking my art history final. I'm nervous but I think I'll do well. 

School is almost over! My brother-in-law will be graduating next week so my in-laws are coming on Wednesday. It'll be fun to see them. Hopefully we'll have enough time to hang out with them... it might be hard because we'll be moving to the other apartment. We'll make it work :)

Yep.. life is good! 

Life is beautiful

I'm so grateful for all the blessings that I have in my life. I have an amazing family. I only get to see them a couple of times during the year, but I LOVE talking to them. We Skype every weekend. I miss them like crazy. My older brother, Ron, lives here in Utah too. It's fun to have him around. I recently got married to my best friend Danny. It's been 4 months and we are loving it. 

The semester is almost over. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! It's been so busy. Danny and I have been trying to sell our contract for the past month. People come to our apartment every day to check out our place. It's so hard to make ourselves free all the time. We've had a couple of people about to buy the apartment but then last minute they decide not to get it. Hopefully something will work out soon :)

I am so not motivated to study for finals (maybe this is why I just created this blog). I just want to party and not worry about studying haha. I'm taking 6 finals...oh dear.. 

A lot of my friends are graduating this semester. I can't believe I won't see many of them anymore. Some of them are going to other places to get a job. Others are getting married  this summer and will stay around or will be leaving too. One of my best friends, Christine is graduating from the Nursing program. She was my roommate my freshman year and also my last roommate before I got married. I'm excited for her to stay here in Provo for a little bit longer. She'll be working as a nurse! cool huh?! I still have another year to graduate. It took me a little longer to get into the Visual Arts program. But it works out perfectly because Danny and Ron will be graduating at the same time... April 2014 :)

Danny and I are sooooo excited for spring and summer. We are both taking one class in spring semester. Danny is also going to try to work full time. He is a research assistant and hopefully he'll get an internship too. I'll be taking an art class and be working on my art portfolio that I need to submit to transfer from Studio to Illustration. I'm excited to have time to work on it. I'm also thinking about getting a part time job. During the summer I want to go back to Texas for a few weeks to visit my family!!!! woot woot!!!! 

Life is great! Even when I don't feel like studying or I can't sell my lame contract I know it will work out. Good luck with finals everyone! We can do this!!!! :)
